WPXI has joined the police smear campaign against Jordan Miles, releasing two stories concocted to better terrify the public and deprive the victim in the police beating of support.
Rumors of a work slow down or diminished patrols came after a judge said the evidence presented left him with no other alternative than to drop prowling and other charges against Jordan Miles, who claims police beat him during his arrest.~source
The blue flu is a tactic to deny responsible law enforcement when the police don’t get their way, often in court. It’s the most ignoble and disgusting of police tactics. It openly spits on the philosophy of serve and protect, and violates the trust rightfully or wrongfully placed in law enforcement. When you’re arrested, the police hand you off and you’re someone else’s problem.
The dismissal of charges has some officers saying it is a failure of the justice system, Channel 11 News reporter Trisha Pittman said.~ibid
It is being used here because Pittsburgh Police are sad and whiny over not being able to get away with beating the he*l out of an unarmed 18 year old black kid and then charge him. They’ve been made to look bad, and their response, either true or as part of a fabricated rumor campaign, is to coerce the public and demonize the victim in the beating. Make no mistake. That is the only purpose of a de facto strike in police: to demonize the victim. It’s extorrtion from the incorporated mob of any given area, detailing the mandatory relationship between police and public: you give us unquestoned, absolute power, or we feed you to the felons.
Then there’s the mug shot issue, which is quickly dembunked and uttelry pathetic.
Look at the mugshot without the WPXI cmmentary. They are saying that Jordon Miles’s hair is intact in this photo. Look at the right side of his head. it isn’t intact. There is a large area missing. Notice the asymmetry. Notice that the hair on the left side of his face is down over his head and brow, but on the other side is absent.
We are comparing it with this photo. Notice how the area is better exposed, at a straight on angle as opposed to a frontal angle that gives minimal depth. In the frontal shot, the hair at the top is hanging down over the area here seen as clearly missing, and does a very poor job of covering the area. But up front, where the hair is absent, the area (right corner of forehead) cannot be covered, accounting for the asymmetry previously mentioned. In Photo 2 the dreadlocks are pulled back, which does not permit the overhang of the top portion of the scalp over the ear area. With the area undisguised, we see the roots, specifically the area damaged and the extent to which it was.
It’s a simple camera trick. Whether it’s standard policy to orient hair to reduce the look of being beaten in a mug shot, or just a trick of the light in this case, actually looking at these photos for more than 30 seconds will clear it all up very easily. That’s why they only flash them on television for about five. Now every suburbanite watching WPXI knows that it’s just another bleed the police scandal and he’s really just another (insert insult/racial expletive here). Next time their taxes go up, they’ll know who they’ve been instructed to blame.
But make no mistake, WPXI should know better. This is absolutely, incorrigibly incompetent, if not deliberate collaboration to deprive a man of his rights.
Whereas, to those of us with any sense, who aren’t intimidated by blue flu rumors, we have something more disturbing to worry about:
Port Authority riders might have noticed a large police presence at times over the past few weeks, as authority police and federal Transportation Security Administration officers conduct saturation patrols.~source
Look. We’ve had 26 bus driver assaulted in the past 2 years. I get the potential threat. There was violence on the East End line around the end of January. I’d like some details about what’s possibly going on, if there are any. I’ll be fair, deservedly or not. If you’re not outright squeezing our nuts to get us more and better used to police state garbage, then release some idea s to the threat being posed. Now.
The officers are there to observe and are not stopping riders or conducting searches.~source
