Long Island promoter Club Loaded presented Long Island artists Lenée and Jesse Passiglia, with cousins Desirée and Donté Coleman, of the band Wishlist to rock The Crazy Donkey on April 3, 2010. Opening for the pop/rock band was special guest The Trade Off. Both Wishlist and The Trade Off have been hard at work in the studio recording their individual upcoming albums.
Wishlist’s lead singers, Lenée and Desirée, are girls on a mission. They claim they will use every ounce of energy they have to pursue their dream of making Wishlist a “band to remember.” “It’s about the four of us. It’s always been the four of us, together,” they confirm. Jesse, the band’s drummer, and lead guitarist Donté, third and fourth the motion to put it all on the line for the band. Their passion for making music and love of performing are contagious. Wishlist’s charm and electric energy had The Donkey crowd cheering.

“We’ve been musicians since we’re little kids,” comments Jesse.
“And performing on stage too,” adds Donté. “I played my first gig as a drummer when I was five and the buzz it created around school made me feel like a rock star.”
Do they have what it takes to make it in the competitive music industry? Lenée, a four time National Cheerleading Champion, knows a little something about competition and what it takes to succeed. American Cheerleader Magazine selected her as their 2008 Cheerleader of the Year. In the exposé written about her, Lenée was compared to country singer Taylor Swift as “daring to set big goals and working hard to achieve them.” She was quoted as saying, “I maintain my three D’s: Determination, Drive, and Dedication.” But Lenée is not the only competitive champion in the group; Jesse and Des know a little something about team work and winning too. Both of the cousins were part of winning teams in high school as a result of their commitment and willingness to give it all they had. Jesse’s senior year brought him a State Championship for lacrosse, where the family gene of hard work and determination was evident. Des, too, took home back-to-back Long Island Cheerleading Championships, and the fever of being in the spotlight is still burning.
All four of the band members were ignited to perform at a young age and are determined to keep the fire lit until they sign a record deal and headline a tour of their own. Luckily, that’s just where they’re headed!
