Once again in 2010, Walt Disney World will offer its annual Sounds Like Summer concerts, a series of free performances by some of the world’s best tribute bands.
The bands will perform hit music from such popular acts as the Bee Gees, Bon Jovi, Chicago, the Eagles, the Rolling Stones, and U2.
Sounds Like Summer happens in June and July at Epcot theme park. Performances take place at the America Garden Theatre, the small ampitheater across from American Adventure Pavilion in the World Showcase.
During the concert series, the tribute bands put on three performances each night of their run, at 5:45 p.m., 7:00 p.m., and 8:15 p.m. (On July 4th, there are four performances, at 5:15 p.m., 6:30 p.m., 7:45 p.m., and 9:00 p.m.)
The Sounds Like Summer Concert Series is included with Epcot theme-park admission.
These summer concerts are just one of Walt Disney World’s free concert series at Epcot. The Flower Power Concert Series takes place during the spring, and is associated with the annual Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. The Eat to the Beat Concert Series takes place during the fall in conjunction with the annual Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. The two-day Night of Joy, with music by some of today’s most popular Christian artists, takes place in September in Magic Kingdom; the concerts are held after the theme park closes and require a separate admission ticket.
