Each year, Project Angel Heart prepares and serves nutritious meals to those suffering from life-threatening illnesses such as HIV/AIDS. In 2008, Project Angel Heart served over 400,000 meals to 1,687 beneficiaries with the help of volunteers preparing and delivering food, and assisting with fund raising events.
The Dining Out For Life event includes participation from hundreds of local restaurants and diners to donate 25% of food sales in one day towards Project Angel Heart’s mission. In 2009, this single-day event raised over $340,000 for the local Denver chapter operations.
Participate as a Volunteer Restaurant Ambassador, on April 29, 2010 and encourage local friends and family to dine out and raise money for a great local organization. As a Restaurant Ambassador, you will be assigned to a local restaurant for a breakfast, lunch or dinner shift to inform patrons of the restaurant’s participation in donating food sales to Project Angel Heart. It’s a great way to be involved with a social event and encourage friends and family to go to one of the participating restaurants.
