If you haven’t received your 2010 census form, they were mailed out on Monday-Wednesday of last week. The actual census form was sent to approximately 120 million households in the U.S. An advance letter was sent to legitimize the mailing of the census forms in the hopes of higher participation in the census.
During the week of March 22, a postcard reminider will be sent as well. It is the hope of the Census Bureau that these mailings will reduce the need for census takers to travel out in person to take interviews.
Instructions for completing the census forms are available in 59 languages at the following address:
Llinguistic guides for the correct completion of the census form can be downloaded from this site, but do not replace the census form itself.
