GREENVILLE, S.C. — Jeremiah Milliman is expected to plead guilty to at least one misdemeanor civil rights charge in federal court on Wednesday.
His attorney says there could be one other charge, but he did not give specifics. Milliman is cited for beating the homeless. Milliman is the second Greenville Officer to face federal charges in this case.
25-year-old Matt Jowers admitted he slammed a homeless man into a patrol car hard enough to dent the vehicle. Both men could face up to one year in prison for the violation of the civil rights of homeless citizens.
