.) If the school chooses via a lottery – put your name into the hat for any school you are interested, you may get into all or only 1 of the schools choosen
.) If the school chooses via first come, first serve – plan on getting htere at least 2 hours before the time registration is to begin to get your choice of spots and/or times
.) If your child gets into more than one school – don’t worry, preschools expect huge turnaround numbers, just pick the choice that you want most ande cancel the rest.
.) Make sure the school you choose offers – academics (letters/numbers/shapes/etc.) and free play time. Socialization is very important for children at that age.
.) If you do not like the feel of a school – don’t assume it will get better when your child is in school. First impressions are usually accurate.
.) Ask for recommendations – friends and other partents can give you the best advice for what to expect with preschool.
