While working on the Easter Barbie dolls – past and present series, I mentioned there were several spring Barbies issued in lieu of Easter dolls. In honor of the blooming flowers and budding trees outside, I thought I would list some of the Barbie dolls with a spring theme.
Mattel has issued several “seasons” collections, each collection featuring a spring doll. Avon also had a short series of three spring Barbie dolls.

Barbie dolls which come to mind with a spring theme would include the following:
Avon Spring Barbie Dolls
Spring Blossom Barbie Doll (1995/box date 1996) – The Spring Blossoms Avon Barbie was the first in this series. Barbie wears a dress that has a purple bodice trimmed with yellow buttons and a pink skirt with a sheer pink dotted overskirt. The yellow bow at the waist matches Barbie’s hat which is adorned with a white daisy, as well as the yellow pumps and yellow basket.
Spring Petals Barbie Doll (1996) – Wearing a floral and gingham dress with a bow at her waist and a matching head band, this doll came was second in the series and came in three versions.

- African American Spring Petals Barbie Doll
Spring Tea Party Barbie, Brunette (1997) – The third Barbie in the Avon series came with a layered dress in pink, purple and green.
Other Spring Barbie Dolls
Spring Bouquet Barbie Doll (1995) – The Enchanted Seasons Collection by Timeless Creations Spring Bouquet Barbie Doll came with a wide-brimmed pink hat with pastel blue trim which matched her pastel floral print dress.

Spring in Toyko Barbie Doll (1998) – The Spring in Tokyo Barbie doll was part of the City Seasons Collectors Edition. She wore a cream colored suit and wide brimmed hat and had the Mackie face. A more limited version of Spring in Tokyo was also issued with the vintage face.
Goddess of Spring Barbie Doll (2000) – From the Classical Goddess Collection, the Goddess of Spring Barbie doll wore a lilac crepe gown with a lavender georgette overskirt and was embellished with a Grecian-inspired border of grapes and leaves.
Spring Day Barbie Doll (ca. 1999) – This playline Barbie was dressed in an orange and pink plaid dress.
Flower Mania Barbie (2001) This doll was issued instead of an Easter Barbie doll.
Totally Spring Primavera Barbie Doll A recent issue, this doll arrived wearing a pink and mint green dress and wrap.
