North Carolina born MMA lightweight Spencer Fisher will look to rebound against German lightweight Dennis Siver at the Finale event for season 11 of “The Ultimate Fighter” on June 19 at the Pearl at the Palms in Las Vegas, Nevada, according to a report from MMAMania.
Fisher, who is originially from Brevard, North Carolina, was last in action at UFC 104 where he lost to Joe Stevenson via submission to elbow strikes. The loss to Stevenson snapped a a three fight winning streak for Fisher that included wins over Jeremy Stephens, Shannon Gugerty, and Caol Uno. Fisher had been booked to return to action against Duane Ludwig at “UFC on Versus 1” but a back injury forced him from the event.
Siver is also on the rebound, having dropped a unanimous decision to “The Ultimate Fighter” season 9 lightweight winner Ross Pearsons at UFC Fight Night 21 on March 31 in Charlotte, NC. Siver had been on a four fight winning streak, including two TKO victories that both earned him “Knockout of the Night” honors, as well as two submission victories.
