The Miami Bulls & Spartans will face off against each other Saturday night for the AFC Conference title and the right to represent the AFC in Alliance Bowl III. The two teams have split their season series with the winner going to Jacksonville on May 1st.
The Spartans have been the FFA’s surprise team using a great blend of veterans and rookies to hold the second best record in the league. The Bulls are playing in its third straight AFC conference final and have made it to the conference finals in six of their seven years.
The Miami Bulls defeated the Sarasota Millionaires 21-0 in the AFC Divisional Playoff game last Saturday at Curtis Park. The Spartans upset last year’s AFC finalist the Bradenton Gladiators 22-9 at the PAL Bowl in Bradenton.
The Bulls come into the game with the leagues #1 ranked defense giving up 11 points a game against the Spartans. The Bulls defeated the Spartans 47-12 in the first meeting of these teams. The Spartans won the second contest 14-10. Both teams have won on its home field. Saturday’s AFC Conference Championship will be played at Curtis Park, 1901 Northwest 24th Avenue Miami, FL.
