Southwest’s Short Up Some Great Savings offers decently-priced tickets for a late spring/early summer getaway. One-way rates to or from Chicago (Midway) include $59 to Buffalo, Cleveland, Columbus, and Detroit, $83 to Long Island, $100 to Baltimore, $108 to Denver, and more. The biggest caveat: Your travel dates have to be flexible, as the lowest rates are only available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

For the third year in a row, Hotels.com launches their Book Early for Summer Sale. Nearly 1,000 hotels across the U.S., Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean are discounted, some as much as 45%. Sample rates include the Regal Palms Resort and Spa in Davenport, FL starting at $139 per night for a four bedroom private home with pool and ResortQuest Rentals in Myrtle Beach starting at $83 per night.
The sale is available now through May 3, 2010 for travel between May 24 and July 5, 2010.
