Your Canyon For a Day Bike Tour
Enjoy 35-mile round trip bike ride through the scenic Yakima River Canyon. The road follows the Yakima River up gentle grades with few hills. The highway will be closed to thru traffic which makes it a perfect ride for the whole family. The biking will begin at 9 a.m. and finish around 3 p.m. The bike ride costs $35 per person and $60 per family. Proceeds benefit the Yakima County Crime Stoppers. Duvall Days 5K/10K Fun Runs
McCormick Park, Duvall
Come to the beautiful Snoqualmie Valley for the 5th annual Duvall 5K/10K Runs, followed by Duvall Days Main Street festivities. Select from two runs: a flat, easy 5K course along the Snoqualmie Valley Trail or a tough, hilly 10K course through the streets of Duvall. Both runs start and finish at McCormick Park in downtown Duvall, next to the Snoqualmie River. Proceeds will go to Riverview Education Foundation health and wellness grants. Wenatchee Sunrise Rotary Apple Century Bike Ride
Walla Walla Point Park
Starting at Walla Walla Point Park, riders have the option of a 50-mile ride with a turnaround at the Entiat National Fish Hatchery or the 100-mile ride with turnaround at Silver Falls. Cost per person is $55 until May 30 and increases to $65 per person after this date. Online registration closes at midnight on June 4th.

The 33rd Annual Shore Run/Walk
Leschi, Seward & Madison Parks, Seattle
Benefiting Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, this event brings people together to run, walk, honor and support those who have and continue to battle cancer. With a 10K Run, 5K Run/Walk and a Half-Mile Kids’ Run for varying athletic abilities, the Shore Run/Walk is one of Seattle’s most family-friendly races. Courses begin at Leschi and Seward Parks and wind through a picturesque residential area, hugging the shore around Lake Washington Boulevard. Everyone finishes in Madison Park for the “Party in the Park,” a celebration featuring prizes donated by local merchants. Click here for information and registration.

Apple Capital Duathlon and Triathlon

The Wenatchee Triathlon Association features this popular Northwest event as athletes can choose between a triathlon or duathlon. Experience the beauty of the course and competitive field with sprint events on Saturday, including the Triathlon (450-yard swim, 20k bike, 5k run) or Duathlon (5k run, 20k bike, 5k run). The grueling challenge of Olympic distances on Sunday features the Triathlon (1.5k swim, 40k bike, 10k run) or Duathlon (10k run, 40k bike, 10k run). Racing begins at 8 a.m. each day.
