If you prefer grocery shopping at discount stores, such as Kmart, or drug stores such as Walgreens and CVS, there are some decent sales this week so let’s hit the bricks…
Kmart: Select Kellogg’s cereals, Pop-Tarts or Keebler Fudge Shoppe cookies are a cool $1.88; Purex liquid detergent, fabric softener or powder detergent, 2/$5; Doritos and Cheez-It crackers, BOGO; Hormel Compleats, Dinty Moore or American Fare juice, 2/$4; select General Mills cereals, 4/$10; 12-packs of select sodas such as Canada Dry, Sunkist and more, 3/$10; Orville Redenbacher’s microwave popcorn, 2/$6.
And with Kmart’s Shop Your Way rewards/credit card, you’ll earn $3 in rewards good on future purchases if you purchase $20 or more of qualifying household products, such as Windex, Glade, Woolite, Lysol and many more. Certain products such as Scrubbing Bubbles Auto Shower cleaner refills and other items get you even more rewards. Check the sales ad wrapper for complete details.
Finally, Kmart is offering Rubbermaid’s 20 pc boxed Easy Find Lids storage set for $9.99, meaning each container with its lid is just a buck! Good time to replace those that have gotten grungy and pitted from microwaving one too many times.
Walgreens: Eggs & 10 ct Banquet Brown ‘n Serve sausage, $1.29; Sun-Maid raisins and Sunsweet dried apricots, $1.99; Hunt’s 8 oz tomato sauce, $.39; select Campbell’s condensed soups, $.59; Butterball broth, $.59; Duncan Hines brownie, cookie or cupcake mixes, Carnation evaporated milk and Kraft Jet Puffed marshmallows, $1.00 each; 64 oz Mott’s apple juice, $1.79; Edy’s ice cream, $2.99; 4 lbs Imperial brand sugar, $1.99; select Kellogg’s cereals, 2/$5; Chicken of the Sea pink salmon, $1.99 and Campbell’s Chunky soup, 2/$3. Most of these sale prices require the in-ad coupon and can be matched with manufacturer’s coupons.
CVS: Coca Cola 12 packs, 3/$10, limit 6; select Kellogg’s cereals, $1.97; VO5 shampoos and conditioners, $.77 each. As always, CVS prices require the use of the store’s rewards card.
Oddly Target’s weekly sales ad didn’t feature anything particularly noteworthy. On the bright side, there were three coupon circulars in this week’s issue of The Orlando Sentinel. One was exclusively for Publix stores and just so you know, you can combine Publix store coupons with manufacturer’s coupons to increase your savings!
Items in bold have recently been featured in coupon circulars. Check them out to maximize your savings.
