The word praise means: “to give thanks”.
The questions of journalism
To get the whole story, all the details of a topic, journalists are taught to ask the “who, what, when, where, why, and how” questions in their reporting. These are ways of digging deeper into finding out about something. These are the building blocks of precise observation and lay a solid foundation for accurate interpretation. Understanding a thing shouldn’t be colored by our own presuppositions of what we think or what we feel. The point is to ‘know the truth’. Let’s find out the truth about praise according to the Bible.

So, we see from this partial investigation, that has only been from the book of Psalms, that praising the Lord is an important activity that we should be doing. We have much to praise the LORD about. In other places of the Bible we would find that we will want to praise the LORD for His love, for His loving kindness, for His mercy, for the sacrifice of Jesus in payment for our sins, for the gift of the Holy Spirit and so many more things that there is not enough space here to name them all.
Let’s thank and Praise the Lord, today!!!
