The Dallas / Fort Worth area received a fresh fall of spring snow Saturday night 3 / 20 into early Sunday 3 / 21. A storm spotter in Princeton, Collin County, TX measured 3.5″ inches of snow at 3:40am local time. Other early morning snow reports included 3″ in Plano, Collin County, 2.8″ in Allen, Collin County, 2.5″ near the Southlake / Grapevine border in Tarrant County, and 1″ in Richardson, Dallas County. The 6:00am 3 / 21 observation at the Dallas / Fort Worth International Airport was “light snow” with a temperature of 32 degrees. And Sunday is the first full day of spring!?!?
