This weekend you & your mate have the opportunity to help raise the spirits of Mecklenburg youth by attending events hosted by Charlotte Wine and Food Weekend: Vintage 2010.
Events start on Thursday April 22nd with your choice of several private dinners which combine the worlds best Vintners with well-known Charlotte restaurants. Learn about the art of winemaking with those who know it best. Tickets start at $65.00 and sell out fast so get yours now while you still can.
Friday evening is packed with your choice of events. From 4-6p enjoy free wine tasting at local wine stores as you mingle with the makers. You can even have your own bottle signed. At 7p make your way to the biggest casual dinner, Big Bottles & Blues, at the Gateway Village. Live music under the night sky and local cuisine makes this one of the most popular events of the weekend. Both Live and Silent auctions feature rare autographed bottles as well as jewelry and artwork. This is a can’t miss event for only $90.00.
Finally the main event is Saturday with the Gala at 6p at the upscale Ritz-Carlton hotel. Fortunately you don’t have to wait until the Gala. Starting right now you can bid for auctioned items such as vintage wines, golf lessons, Napa Valley & Italy getaways and oh yes, 2 Superbowl tickets.
