The amazing Wladimir Klitschko’s knokcked out Eddie Chambers with a viscous left hook in the 12th round, making his record now 54 -3, and making him the least famous Heavyweight Champion in history in America, because he can’t get any coverage from the big networks. Why, we have no idea, but it might be because he is too clean, too nice, too smart, too good for the US press to bother to cover him. They would much rather make a hero of a drunk, abuser, alcoholic, drug user, radical than give any praise to a real fighter and good person. Just look at the coverage Mayweather gets every time he accuses Pacquiao of doing drugs, and look at the coverage Pacman gets when he does something good, like giving millions to charity and you will see what I mean.
Klitschko did give Chambers credit,
“I have to give him credit, he was (very) fast,” Klitschko said. “He doesn’t have much punching power and his game plan was gone by round 6.”
And if you watch this video you will see Chambers doing a great double leg take down in wrestling. He might have a career in the MMA ring, since he obviously doesn’t have on in boxing.
The Klitchkos brothers are great fighters and we wish they would be given the credit for being so great by the American Press. But that is like wishing for Santa, it is not going to happen. There will continue to be a lack of coverage of heavyweight fights until a radical wins the title again. It is a shame, but that is the way it is.
