Massachusetts metal-core rockers, Killswitch Engage, will be hitting the Southwest this week, including shows in Tempe and Tucson. The Tucson KsE show, to be held at the Rialto Theatre Thursday night, will begin around 8 pm. Supporting acts Devil Wears Prada and Dark Tranquility will start off the evening, with Killswitch likely to hit the stage sometime before 10 pm.
Tickets aren’t cheap, at just over $30 a pop, but the band typically puts on a really good show. Some KsE fans may balk at the price, considering the lead singer has fallen off this tour due to personal issues. Filling in for the current KsE vocalist, Howard Jones, will be the singer for All That Remains, Phil Labonte.
The band’s website points out this is a unique opportunity to hear elements of both Killswitch Engage and All That Remains, all in one set. For die-hard fans of both bands, this may make the tickets to these concerts even more valuable!
Tucson fans will have to decide quickly, however, as KsE hits the Old Pueblo in just over 24 hours! Hit up The Rialto’s website or the Killswitch Engage website for more info.
If you miss KsE’s Thursday (3/4) show in Tucson because of work, illness or leprechauns, you can always head up to the Marquee on Mill Ave in Tempe for Friday night’s gig (3/5)!
