The torture is over. Kate Gosselin was eliminated from Dancing with the Stars Tuesday night. Her dance partner, Tony Dovolani, must be breathing a sigh of relief.
The reality star Mom of eight lasted five weeks too long on DWTS. Her foxtrot on Monday night, which lacked anything to do with a trot, was the final straw for Kate.
With a score of 15 out of a possible 30 points on Monday’s show, and the usual negative comments from the judges, there wasn’t much hope for Kate.
The voters didn’t save her and that’s great news for people who tune into Dancing with the Stars to actually watch dancing.
“”Thank you for believing in me, probably more than I believed in myself,” Gosselin stated, apologizing for being a “cry baby”.
It’s not clear if anyone actually believed in Kate Gosselin or just voted for her because they felt bad.
The Twitter stream was buzzing with the news of Gosselin being voted off DWTS on Tuesday night:
BreanaQuinn: Thank god, Kate Gosselin you are finally out of my face while watching a great tv show!

lauramw0607: And the heavens open up for a joyful song… As Kate Gosselin leaves Dancing With The Stars! ‘Bout time.
Celebrities that remain in the running for the Dancing with the Stars mirror ball trophy are: ESPN sports reporter Erin Andrews, Pussycat Dolls lead singer Nicole Scherzinger and Olympic gold medal figure skater Evan Lysacek.
