Many things have to be considered upon the passage of a central health care plan led and controlled by the government.
We must ask what the government has ever controlled that they run well? Social security? Medicare? The military? The only thing they run well is a taxation system.
Now, we are being told that this health care plan is not a government takeover. WRONG! The government will be regulating it and offering a central health care plan to citizens. The bill also states that government will fine citizens who do not choose a health care plan. It will also make it difficult for employers still holding on to private insurance. And the government will regulate and control it’s ration. What part of this isn’t government takeover? Especially after V.P. Joe Biden admits government will control private insurance companies, and Barney Frank stated that public options is the fastest way to eliminate private companies. Sound much like a takeover.
Another issue is that government will be controlling one-sixth of the economy. President Obama laughs at this. He says that government won’t be controlling one-sixth of the economy overnight. But he didn’t deny it. He also didn’t deny that you won’t be able to keep private insurance for long, or that taxes will have a major increase. He simply said, “Its just reform.” Didn’t Obama previously say that this would not be funded by taxes? He thought we forgot. Now it appears taxes are funding it. It matters which forum he’s appearing on. Or he was just lying to us.
The real questionable issue is that supporters believe it is not just a civil right to have insurance, but a moral issue. But does that mean every citizen is obligated to have it? If that is the case, every citizen is also obligated to eat. Should Price Chopper be obligated to give out food even if we can’t pay for it? If the government get a hold of that legislation, it may be next.
We need toilet paper as well. Should there be a universal toilet paper plan? We certainly cannot get along without it. It is a civil right. So is having a vehicle. We have to get around, don’t we?
Would Jesus mandate we have compassion and allow our government to legislate this as a moral obligation and a right of every citizen? He certainly would not have voted for government to be in control of it. Some believe in this social justice and benefits of the government. But government was not meant for providing benefits, only in protecting citizens. It has gotten way out of control. America doesn’t work as a socialist nation. It was a Capitalist one. Each one has the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. It is not just provided. We get merit for our efforts. That was until the government penalized those who achieve. Now we don’t have life, nor liberty as well.
This is nothing but a socialistic plan to get us under a central government who want control. Elitists in Washington DC salivate over the possibilities of this move. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. We are headed towards a New World Order. And you are the resource.
Our local representatives Paul Tonko and Scott Murphy both voted for the bill. Murphy said this was a Conservative bill. He better look up the description of Conservative because it is far from that.
