Most people who live on Whidbey Island have at least heard about the Coupeville Boys & Girls Club and the numerous opportunities that the club offers. What may be a closely guarded secret is the much talked about Annual “Make a Difference” Auction & Dinner. This is a fundraiser that really makes a difference in the quality of activities that can be enjoyed at the club.
You’re invited to support the Boys and Girls Club by attending the annual FUNdraising dinner and auction. The evening begins with appetizers, beverages and a silent auction, followed by a delicious dinner donated by Serendipity Catering.
The club’s favorite auctioneer, Dale Sherman, will keep everyone entertained during the live auction as he describes items, experiences and delightful desserts for you to enjoy.
100% of the funds raised at the auction will be used to support basic programs and scholarships for Boys & Girls Club kids. Your help is needed to make this year’s “Make a Difference” FUNdraising Auction a success!
This is the club’s 4th annual “Make a Difference” auction and dinner and in past years the event has generated $20,000 plus Island Thrift in Oak Harbor added to that amount with a donation of $10,000. A number of businesses and individuals also made huge difference during 2009 with donations.
Now that you know the secret to helping the Coupeville Boys & Girls Club, you should make plans to attend the Fourth Annual “Make a Difference” Auction & Dinner.
