Kentucky’s Department of State Parks has just announced an addition to Earth Day events across the Commonwealth. Lake Barkley State Resort Park will celebrate with a variety of activities for the whole family.
This year’s theme is wildlife in your backyard. Guests of the park will learn about backyard wildlife and ways to make a backyard into a wildlife habitat. Event activities will run from Wednesday, April 21st through Sunday, April 25th and will include astronomy, birding, wildflower walks, an owl prowl, and fishing.
