The Bridgeport Bluefish will be offering their fans something brand new during the 2010 season. In addition to broadcasting all 140 games via streaming webcast on www.bridgeportbluefish.com, fans will also be able to watch every Bluefish game from their own computers.
Veteran minor league broadcaster Perry Miles will call the action for every Bluefish game throughout the 2010 season. This marks Perry’s second year in professional baseball. In 2009, the Syracuse University graduate traveled to San Angelo, Tex., where he served as the assistant director of broadcasting and media relations for the Colts in the United League. While in the Lone Star State, Miles became an important part of an organization that earned the United League’s Franchise of the Year award. Over the last two years, he has also called basketball play-by-play for three Division II schools (Adelphi, NYIT and Dowling). His passion has always been to broadcast sports; however, that is not his only hobby. Miles grew up in Bayside, Queens and resides in Bridgeport.
