The Beer City Tattoo Convention returns to Milwaukee’s Harley Davidson Museum this year. The popular tattoo con will open on Friday, June 11 and run through June 13, 2010.
The Convention has undergone lots of changes since its premier in 2006, finding its new home at the Harley Davidson Museum in 2009. While information on this year’s Convention attendees is still sparse, the event typically features artists and piercers from around the country, daily tattoo contests with dozens of categories, a large vendor area, seminars for tattoo professionals, and alternative entertainment like The Lizardman.
With the Convention less than two months away, expect the gritty details to emerge rapidly as artists and vendors are confirmed. Villain Arts, home of the Beer City Tattoo Convention as well as its Philadelphia, Baltimore and Minneapolis counterparts, has a new website for the Convention as well as a Myspace page and toll-free number (1-800-541-8239) to keep attendees up to date.
