As of Saturday we’re 4” below average for the month but running 5.8” above average for the season. In a typical season we would receive roughly another 5” of snow between today and the end of April.
Grand Rapids usually sees snow until April 28th and for the month of April, 2.8” typically fall. Just like Saturday, the snow this time of the year usually doesn’t last very long.
As a quick reminder back to last year at this time, we already observed 104.7” of snow and ended the season with 104.9”. By the way, last year we observed snow falling from the clouds until April 21st.
