Amber Alerts and missing children cases: Nathaniel Fons found in New York City
The three year old boy missing from Florida, Nathaniel Fons was found on April 20, 2010. Nathaniel was brought to the St. Patricks Cathedral by an unknown female at approximately 6:00 p.m., Tuesday evening. It is unclear if the woman who dropped him off was the person he was believed to be traveling with: Eleanor Black.
Nathaniels mother was arrested on Sunday, April 18, 2010 after the RV she was in was pulled over in Flagler County, Florida. Police found evidence of a large counterfeiting ring and she was arrested. Nathaniel was nowhere to be seen, but was believed to be traveling with Eleanor Black and William Scott in another vehicle. When deputies found the vehicle they were driving abandoned at a Holiday Inn, they issued a missing child alert.
After it was reported that Nathaniel Fons was found Flagler County Sheriff Donald W. Fleming stated, We are certainly pleased with this outcome. I want to thank the media for assisting us in getting the message out during our search for this youngster.
Nathaniel Fons has family living in Land OLakes, Florida but at this point, it is unclear where he will be placed.
